I’m starting to feel that magazine holders should become their own category of furniture, next to sofas and chairs. Pallet, designed by young Italian designer Flavia Dalla Pellgrina, is by far one of the more unique renditions of the magazine rack I have ever seen. It is still in the conceptual stage, but I’m sure that is soon to change; looks simple enough to manufacture, and I would definitely go and buy one of these if it existed.

The holder is made in white, appears to be modular, and has an interesting play on shadows. The blocks come in two designs, one with a slit opening, and one that is completely solid. It also looks as though one could place books in between the grids as well. I’m already sold just explaining this to myself.
